BTB Summer Program 2017

 

Beyond the Bell offers a summer program designed to help children retain core academic skills often lost over the months school is not in sessions. Math and reading instruction with certified teachers, enrichment outings and recreational activities make up an education and fun environment for the children enrolled. 

 

We are conveniently located at Morningside Elementary, Perry Creek Elementary, & Liberty Elementary. Students can be enrolled in an 8 week or 6 week program. See fee packages below for details. 

 

Summer program enrollment is available for students who are..

  • Currently enrolled in the Sioux City Community School District
  • Going into K-8th grade in Fall 2017

Registrations are available at our BTB Administrative Office at 2500 Glenn Ave. #78, Sioux City, IA 51106. All registrations must be completely filled out and turned in to our BTB Administrative Office to hold student’s spot.

All forms must be completed to register. To fill out financial assistance, a w2 or last two pay stubs is required. A registration fee and deposit will be collected with the registration.

The enrollment for BTB Summer Program based on caps per classroom.  Once the classroom enrollment cap has been met, children will be placed on a waiting list. For more information regarding enrollment caps, please contact our administrative office at 712-277-3600.

Busing is available for free by the SCCSD transportation. To receive busing, the parent or guardian must fill out a busing request form at our administrative office. Bus stops are designated stops- NOT at the front door of your home. Requests must be turned in by May 19, 2017 to the BTB administrative office.

Fee Packages

-Registration fee and deposit must accompany all registrations.

-Payments can be made weekly or monthly towards account. All fee packages must be paid in full by June 1st. 

-All fees are non-refundable.

-Financial assistance does not transfer from school year to summer. A new Financial Assistance form must be filled out and turned into BTB administrative staff. 

-Families with students attending a Beyond the Bell site during the school year that is funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant may be eligible to access the program free of charge. 21st CCLC elementary schools include Hunt, Irving, Leeds, Liberty, Loess Hills, Spalding Park, and Unity.  **Grant funded spots are limited.

Beyond the Bell accepts DHS Childcare Assistance.

We encourage any parent who receives free/reduced lunch to apply to DHS Childcare Assistance.
